Personally, INSEAD has been a fantastic learning experience (and i am sure you will hear on the same lines from most alumni). The school has an extremely diverse and culturally vibrant group of students (in any classroom you can expect forty or fifty nationalities which makes the classroom discussions very stimulating). The one year (infact the MBA is a 10 month course - shortest MBA in the world) is very intense with lots to do and very little time. The time at campus just flies and before you realise it's graduation day. Since the course is offered in two campuses (france and singapore) one has to make their campus choice wisely depending on each person's priorities. But Campus Exchange is also possible and i would strongly recommend spending time in both campus (me personally having done it). INSEAD's social life is great. There are numerous parties throughout the year. Lots of opportunity to network, make friends for life in most parts of the world. But INSEAD is not for everybody. Since the course duration is small (one year), career change options are very limited (i.e. If some has IT experience and wants to move into strategy consulting or banking career, it is very difficult). International work experience is important and favoured by admission committee, as the program aims to offer a global management career. If one has none or only few years of experience (say less than 4-5 years) it is difficult to benefit fully from what the MBA offers. One has to have a clear idea what he/she wants from the MBA. Looking at the average class participant profile helps a lot. On a final note, INSEAD has definitely lived up to all my expectations. Only disappointment is it all ended so fast...
